Description: If your Galaxy Core Prime will not turn on or...

Steps:

  1. Step 1: Rule out a flat battery. Charge the phone for 20 minutes. Then remove the back cover, take out the battery, wait 30 seconds, and put it back.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the PC. Install the Samsung USB drivers, download the firmware, and unzip it. You should see a file starting with "AP" or a single .tar.md5 file.
  3. Step 3: Enter Download Mode. Power off the phone. Hold Volume Down + Home + Power until a warning screen appears, then press Volume Up to continue.
  4. Step 4: Connect to Odin. Open Odin as administrator and plug the phone into the PC. The ID:COM box should turn blue or yellow.
  5. Step 5: Load the firmware. Click the AP (or PDA) button and select the firmware file. Keep "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" ticked, and leave everything else unchanged.
  6. Step 6: Flash. Click Start and wait for the green PASS! message. Do not unplug the cable before it appears.
  7. Step 7: First boot. The phone will restart on its own. The first boot can take 5 minutes. If it fails, boot into recovery (Volume Up + Home + Power) and select "wipe data/factory reset".
  8. Troubleshooting: If Odin does not detect the phone, try another USB port or cable and reinstall the drivers. If flashing fails, check that the firmware matches the model SM-G360H.
