Steps:

1. Make sure that the device is unplugged, completely off, and that the device is not warm to the touch.
2. Working from left to right, use plastic opening tool to lift keyboard up and out of recessed holding tray.
3. Continue to pry around the entire keyboard until it is loose enough to easily slide your fingers underneath the corners of the keyboard.
4. Once existing keyboard is removed, it can no longer be reinstalled. Be sure to have new keyboard available for installation.
5. Keyboard will make a snapping sound as it is freed from tray.

6. Using hands, gently pull keyboard out of device.
