Steps:

1. Remove the gray motor unit by twisting it so that the black triangle moves from the "locked" to the "unlocked" position.

2. Remove the filter from the dirt canister.

3. Separate the cyclone assembly from the dirt tank by twisting the pieces counterclockwise.

4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the three screws from the bottom of the cyclone assembly.
5. Remove the bottom of the assembly.

6. Twist the clear plastic capsule with the fins counterclockwise to remove it.

7. Twist the blue parts counterclockwise with a good amount of force to remove them.
