AEG Öko Lavamat 1571 Shock Absorber Replacement

Steps:

1. Unplug the power plug !!!
2. Loosen the water and sewage hose
3. Remove screws securing the top cover
4. Lift the lid at the back and slide it out to the rear

5. Remove water hose
6. Disconnect the power plug
7. Remove plastic caps at the bottom right + left

8. Remove screws according to pictures (and only these !!!)
9. Remove rear housing part
10. Caution: The rear housing part is part of the load-bearing structure! The case is now slightly twisted.

11. The shock absorbers are situated to the right and to the left. The right one is extremely difficult to access.
12. To remove the pins, the lock must be pressed down at the front end.
13. The installation position is marked on the shock absorber.
