Steps:
- Push silver tab located towards top of vacuum to remove dirt cup from vacuum.
- Press the tab below the Hoover logo to open the lid of dirt cup.
- Remove the filter from the top.
- Rinse under tap water, dry for 24 hours in the sun, and put back in place.
