Steps:

  1. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the camera, below the user interface panel.

  2. The hatch covering the memory card will slide open towards the corner of the device.

  3. Once the hatch is slid so the end is overhanging the edge of the camera, you will be able to lift it open.
    4. Step image
  4. Once open, you will see a small orange tab near the corner of the camera.
  5. Push this tab towards the front face of the device, and the battery will freely fall out from the hatch.
