Steps:

  1. WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer.
  2. CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on your computer).
  3. Remove the two screws that secure the power button board to the palm rest assembly.

  4. Lift the power button board off the palm rest assembly.

  5. Place the power button board on the palm rest assembly and replace the two screws that secure the power button board to the palm rest assembly.
  6. CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage the computer.
