Steps:

1. Remove the back cover of the laptop by unscrewing eight 3.5mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

2. Using the plastic opening tool, pry up the back cover.
3. It is recommended to start from a corner and run the tool along the edge of the cover.

4. Locate the RAM on the motherboard.

5. Carefully pull on the tabs on either sides of the RAM.

6. Carefully pull the old RAM out.
