Steps:

1. There is adhesive holding the back plate in place. Be careful removing this as there is wiring on the other side.
2. Insert the SIM card removal tool or the point of a spudger into the tiny notch in the frame near the SIM card tray, and pry up.
3. This will allow you to open a slight gap behind the back panel.
4. Insert an opening pick or other plastic tool into the gap and slide it around the entire perimeter of the phone to release the adhesive and remove the back plate.
5. If the adhesive is too tough, use an iOpener or hair dryer to heat the back of the phone and soften the adhesive, and try again.
