Steps:

  1. Remove external rubber cover.
  2. Step image
  3. Use blue plastic opening tool to remove the external speaker face by placing it in the slight opening at the bottom.
  4. Use a lever motion, push the tool down, lifting the speaker face.
  5. Use fingers to grip and remove speaker face.
  6. Repeat on reverse side to remove the second speaker face.

  8. Orient speaker so volume buttons are facing away from you, and Bluetooth and power buttons are on the left-hand side.
  9. Remove the seven 14mm screws using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  11. Reorient speaker so Bluetooth and power buttons are now on the right-hand side.
  12. Separate the two panels along the crease.
  13. Blue plastic opening tool may be needed to separate panels.
  14. Remove the panel with no buttons to expose internal area of the device.
  15. Motherboard and all internal components are under this panel.

  17. Remove the plactic piece containing the Micro USB port from its designated slot, found below the speakers.

  19. Detach both the wires connecting the Micro USB piece to the motherboard.

  21. Remove the two 10mm screws using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  23. Remove the small black plastic piece that was held in place by the two 10 mm screws and covers the Micro USB port.

  25. Use the black plastic spudger to lightly push the Micro USB piece out of the external plastic piece.
