Steps:

1. Press the button on the lower right side of the LG V20 to open the clamp that holds the back cover on the back side of the phone.
2. Remove the back cover.

3. Before disassembling your phone, discharge the battery below 25%. A charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire and/or explode if accidentally punctured.
4. Insert a spudger or your fingernail under the battery at the small recess on the lower edge.
5. Be careful not to deform or puncture the battery.
6. Pry up and remove the battery.

7. Use an iOpener to loosen the adhesive beneath the rear lens cover.

8. Use the tip of an opening pick to gently pry up the rear lens cover.
9. Use the tip of the opening pick and slide around the whole rear lens cover to cut the adhesive beneath.

10. Remove the rear lens cover.
