Steps:

1. Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power adapter before attempting this guide. Failure to do so can result in a shock hazard.

2. Remove the top and middle rubber feet under the laptop to reveal hidden screws.

3. Remove the five 6 mm T9 screws.
4. Remove the eight 10 mm T9 screws.

5. Remove the back cover.

6. Unplug the ribbon cable connecting the battery to the motherboard.
7. Be careful around the motherboard, as it is easily damaged.

8. Remove the three 4 mm Phillips #1 screws securing the battery.

9. Pull open the clips on either side of the battery to free it from the case.
10. Remove the battery from the computer.
