Steps:
- Remove the cap of the eyeliner.
- Wrap the eyeliner applicator tightly with plastic wrap.
- The plastic wrap should be just large enough to cover the applicator.
- Smooth the bent bristles of the applicator in the same direction.
- Smooth the excess plastic wrap along the body of the eyeliner.
- Secure the plastic wrap tightly with a rubber band.
- The rubber band should circle the middle of the applicator.
- Check to make sure there are no holes in the plastic wrap.
- Fill a pot with water.
- The water level should be high enough to cover the tip of the eyeliner.
- Boil the water.
- Turn off the heat once the water has reached a boil.
- Hold the eyeliner vertically above the pot of water. The applicator should be facing down.
- Place the eyeliner applicator into the boiled water for 1 minute.
- Do not submerge the eyeliner further than the applicator.
- Carefully remove the rubber band and the plastic wrap.
- Great Job! Your eyeliner is ready to be used again.
