Steps:

1. Turn the laptop over and make the bottom of the laptop face up.

2. Place your fingers on the black latches indicated in the picture.

3. Side them until you hear a click.

4. Place both hands over the edge of the battery and pull up.

5. Remove the screws keeping the hard drive in place using a PH00 Philips screwdriver.

6. Remove the silver plate by pushing it towards the back of the laptop.
7. You may need to use significant force.
8. Remove the plate.

9. Flip the hard drive upside down.
10. Pull the switch locking the tape cord in place up.
11. Pull on the tape to remove it.

12. Remove the Hard Drive.
