Steps:

  1. Power off the device completely
  2. Flip the device over to its back cover.
  3. Use the switches to release the battery from its adapter.
  4. Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the two 1.5 mm screws in the smaller portion of the bottom cover.
  5. After removing the screws, remove the smaller cover.

  6. Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the 1.5 mm screws that hold down the hard drive.

  7. Remove the hard drive from the slot.
  8. Remove the hard drive from its shell.

  9. Using the the Philips #0 Screwdriver remove highlighted screws.

  10. Lift plastic cover with tweezers.
  11. Remove screw.

  12. Lift keyboard panel with plastic pry tool to remove.

  13. Unhook all ribbons to remove keyboard panel completely.

  14. Slide the DVD Player outward.
