Steps:
- Remove the screws holding the base.
- Slide out the base
- Remove the screws holding the back cover of the screen.
- Start by prying out the back cover using a screwdriver in the holes at the bottom.
- Continue along the bottom edge
- Then follow by the side edges all the way to the top
- The VGA connector screws shouldn't be too hard to unscrew, if you don't have the appropriate 5 mm wrench, you can use a set of pliers.
- Just slide it down. No need to remove the tinfoil sticker.
- If the screen is not working, you may want to look for and replace any blown capacitors.
- In my case, the two 1000 uF, 16 V electrolytes at the top right were faulty.
