Apple Lisa Disassembly

Steps:

1. Place the Lisa on a safe/sturdy surface.

2. Press the two tabs underneath to release the panel.

3. Release the thumbscrew underneath the drive cage and the cage will pull out. Disconnect drive wires while the cage is being removed.

4. Twist thumbscrews on the back to release the panel. Pull panel up to remove.

5. Release the thumbscrew on the power supply. Pull out the power supply.

6. Grab the card cage at the location shown and pull out.

7. Unscrew two philips screws on the ceiling of where the card cage was.

8. Release two screws and release the ribbon cable.

9. Remove all screws shown.

10. Remove all screws shown.

11. Remove all screws shown.

12. Remove all screws shown.

13. I am not a certified CRT technician so I am not suppling steps on how to remove it although here is a photo of the innards.

14. Pull up on the tabs to remove cards.

15. Remove all screws shown.
