Description: If your laptop's touchpad is unresponsive...

Steps:

1. Turn off your laptop before starting.
2. Flip the laptop over so the model stickers face the ceiling.

3. Remove the thirteen 6mm Phillips screws using the #0 screwdriver.
4. Remove the back of the laptop.

5. Remove the two 7mm Phillips screws from the battery using the #0 screwdriver.

6. Unplug the battery from the motherboard.

7. Carefully disconnect the hard drive from the motherboard.

8. Disconnect the two wires from the Wi-Fi interface.

9. Remove one 6mm Phillips screw from the Wi-Fi interface using the #0 screwdriver.

10. Remove the Wi-Fi interface from the motherboard.

11. Remove the eight 7mm Phillips screws from the motherboard using the #0 screwdriver.

12. Remove the motherboard.

13. Remove one 6mm Phillips screw from the middle of the touchpad with the #0 screwdriver.

14. Remove the wire from the slot.

15. Remove the stickers from the touchpad frame.

16. Remove one 6mm screw from the corner of the touchpad frame with the #0 screwdriver.

17. Lift up the touchpad frame.

18. Remove the touchpad.
