Steps:

1. Flip the device over to access the screws on the back cover.
2. Remove the ten 5mm Torx T5 screws on the back cover to loosen the back cover.

3. Slide the iFixit Opening Tool under the back cover to lift it up.
4. Pull up on the cover with your hand to release the tab holding the center of the cover in place.

5. Remove two 3mm Phillips #00 screws that hold the speaker in place.
6. These steps are applicable for the speaker on the right or left. Identify the speaker to replace then proceed.

7. Disconnect the red and black wire from the motherboard to free the speaker.

8. Lift up the speaker with the iFixit Opening Tool and remove the speaker.
