Steps:

  1. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screw securing the battery cover.

  2. Use a spudger to pry out the battery.
  3. Pry off the rubber feet.
  4. Remove the seven screws securing the lower case:
  5. Three tri-wing screws
  6. One Phillips screw
  7. Two gold Phillips screws
  8. One black tri-wing screw

  9. Carefully pry the bottom cover off.
  10. Remove the shoulder buttons by pulling out the metal pegs that secure them to DS.
  11. The triggers are held in by tiny metal pegs and springs. Keep track of each piece.
