Steps:

1. Be sure to power off and unplug your device before you begin your repair.
2. Remove the eight 4mm PH00 screws.
3. Remove the four 2mm PH00 screws.

4. Use the nylon spudger to loosen the back cover from the back of the device.
5. You may hear a bit of a snapping sound, but this is normal.

6. Remove six 4mm Phillips #00 screws.
7. Pull the battery connector parallel to the motherboard to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

8. Use a nylon spudger to pry the battery up and out of the device.
