Steps:

1. The battery is held in place by two latches.
2. Flip the laptop over so that the underside faces up.
3. Slide the right battery latch outwards into the unlock position.

4. Use your finger to slide and hold the left latch outwards in the unlock position.
5. Slide the battery out from its recess away from the latches.
6. When you replace the battery, remember to re-lock the right latch by sliding it inwards.
