Steps:

  1. Open Activity Monitor. Find QuickLookUIService in the Memory column.
    2. Step image
  2. Tap the x box in upper Left corner of window to quit this process. (You may have to choose Force Quit). Once QuickLookUIService is quit, Eject will work instantly.
