Steps:

1. Identify the location of the battery release switches.

2. Slide the left battery release switch to the unlocked position (red showing). This is also indicated by the lock/unlock icons beside the switch.

3. To remove the battery, pull back the right spring-loaded battery release switch while simultaneously sliding the battery away from the laptop.
4. Reassembly tip: when inserting the new battery, make sure the tracks line up right. The battery tracks should sit on top of the laptop body tracks.
