Steps:

1. To get to the filter, press the button on the top of the vacuum to split your device in two.

2. Remove your Dirt Devil Gator into its two components by pulling apart.

3. Turn over the front half of the device.

4. Press the two grey buttons on either side of the filter chamber inwards to release the chamber.

5. Remove all debris and obstructions around the filter itself.
6. Remove from the filter chamber by pulling out the filter.

7. Replace it with a new or restored filter by placing it back in the filter chamber.
