Maytag Atlantis W10219156 Hub and Seal Kit Replacement

Steps:

- remove agitator, and thub
- remove thub
- remove transmission out of the washer
- remove hub by unscrew it. use two pipe wrech or cut it.
- assemble new part on the transmission. The 4 srew
- The original screw was 4 x 1" M8 - 1.5 self treaded, screw was damage and rusty, New from Maytag are 10$ each and are not so good. I change it for stainless stel screw. Could not find M8 on stainelss stel I use a equivalent 5/16-18.
- Use tap to tread the hub. Don't forget to remplace the nylon washer and I add a stainless stel washer also.
- remove corrosion if required, check electrical connection. (I paint the botom and re-do ground connection.)
