ID: 132693
Description: This instructional guide details step-by-step...
Steps:
- Using the crowbar, shovel, and hammer as needed, wedge out the broken pieces of concrete intended to be replaced.
- Remove these pieces from the site.
- Using the shovel, create an area along the perimeter of the empty section of the driveway to fit the wooden 2x4.
- Place the 2x4 in this section.
- Use the hammer to drive the stakes into the ground on the outside of the section and snuggly against the wood to hold in place.
- Using the leveler, ensure that the top of the wood is approximately level with the remaining concrete from the driveway (optional).
- Use the shovel to level the ground area where the concrete will be poured.
- Pour the concrete mix into a wheelbarrow.
- Using the water hose, wet the unmixed concrete as specified by the concrete mix instructions.
- Use the hoe to mix the concrete until it is all wet.
- Pour the mixed concrete into the empty section of the driveway.
- Use the trowel to smooth and level the new concrete even with the original concrete.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the hole is fully filled and level.
- Wait 24 hours (or a period specified by the concrete mix manufacturer) for the concrete to completely dry. Then remove the form.
- Then remove the form.
