Steps:
- Remove and save rattan from broken sections.
- Remove old nails from the sections that have separated. Pliers may be helpful for nails that are hard to reach with the claw of a hammer.
- Glue the split wood pieces together, clamp, and let them dry.
- Nail the thin decorative wood pieces to the larger sections of the frame.
- Screw the circular base and upper to the vertical supports that have become disconnected.
- Screw together two ends of the circular part of the frame. Align the screw to be perpendicular to the seam where the two ends connect.
- Nail down one side of the rattan and re-wrap it. Finish by nailing down the other end of the rattan to secure it.
