Steps:

1. Before you begin, be sure that the engine is powered off and is cool to the touch.
2. Grab the plastic housing at the end of the spark plug wire.
3. Pull firmly to disconnect the wire from the spark plug.

4. Use a 14 mm socket to remove the four bolts securing the pump assembly to the pressure washer.

5. Pull the pump assembly straight off of the pressure washer to remove it.

6. During reassembly, insert the square key into the slot on the pump motor shaft before you reinstall the pump assembly.

7. The new pump assembly will come with a plug in the oil port. After installing the new pump assembly, remove this plug.
8. Replace the plug with the dipstick from the old pump assembly.
