Lenovo ThinkPad T440p Display Replacement

Steps:

1. Flip the laptop over so that the bottom of the laptop is facing you.

2. Slide each of the battery latches away from each other into the unlocked location.

3. Slide the battery out of the battery compartment.

4. Flip the laptop over so that the top of the laptop faces you.

5. Lift the lid of the laptop until the top of the lid is touching the ground.

6. Carefully pry the display bezels away from the display using the plastic opening tool.
7. The edges on the underside of the bezel that touches the display may be sharp.

8. Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the four 3mm display screws.

9. Carefully lift the display up and place it on the keyboard.
10. Don't remove it from the laptop. There's a cable still attached to it.

11. Locate the latch attached to the display cable.
12. Grab the latch and flip it over so that it is facing away from you.

13. Gently remove the cable from the display by pulling it directly away from you.

14. Remove the display from the computer.
