Compaq Presario CQ60 Display Assembly Replacement

Steps:

1. Slide battery latch to left
2. Simultaneously lift battery

3. Lift and remove battery

4. Remove 3x M2.5x4mm

5. Lift the keyboard in the middle with a spudger
6. Remove 4 clips by bending keyboard in middle, do not force the clips at the sides
7. Do not remove the keyboard fully, it is attached via a ribbon cable

8. Lift keyboard slightly
9. Push each side of ribbon cable connector
10. Fully remove keyboard

11. Remove 2x Phillips M2.5x8mm screws from under the display
12. Remove 4x Phillips M2x2.8mm screws from the battery compartment

13. Turn over the laptop
14. Use a spudger to lift the ribbon cable hinged clip
15. Pull the ribbon cable out of the connector

16. Lifting the bezel by the screen
17. Slide the bezel back towards the screen to release it from the clips

18. Fully remove bezel

19. Disconnect the display cable
20. Disconnect the microphone connector
21. Pull out the microphone LED from it's clip
22. Unroute the cables from their holders

23. Pull the wifi antennas through from the back of the laptop
24. Unroute the antenna cables from their guides

25. Remove 4x Phillips #1 M2.5x8mm screws from display hinges
26. Carefully lift display out making sure no cables are snagged
