ID: 142107
Description: This guide shows how to remove and replace any...
Steps:
- Before you begin, make sure the device is switched off and the engine is cool to the touch.
- Grab the plastic housing at the end of the spark plug wire.
- Pull firmly to disconnect the wire from the spark plug.
- If you are only replacing one or two shock mounts, you may not need to rotate the device.
- Carefully rotate the device so that the pump sits on top of the engine.
- Place a block of wood underneath the engine so that the engine weight rests on the wood and not the shock mounts.
- Do not remove all four mount bolts at once, or the assembly will separate from the frame. Replace up to two shock mounts at a time.
- Use a 13 mm socket and wrench to remove the nut(s) securing the shock mount(s) that you are replacing.
- Use a 19 mm socket and wrench to remove the bolt securing the shock mount to the assembly.
- Remove the shock mount.
- Repeat to replace the remaining shock mounts.
