Steps:

  1. Open the hood of the Jeep by pulling the hood latch. This is placed right next to the driver's seat and to the left of the brake pedal.

  3. Notice a latch located above the car's grill after popping the hood. Lift the hood by releasing the latch. After lifting the hood, notice a movable latch just above the wiper fluid container. There is a specific hole on the left side of the hood where you can hook the latch.

  5. Disconnect the wind-shield fluid line on the left side of the hood.

  7. Identify the four bolts which can be seen towards the extreme left (2 bolts) and extreme right (2 bolts) underneath the hood.

  9. Remove the four bolts using a 13mm wrench and lift the hood out of place.
  10. After replacing the old hood with the new hood, reverse the process; tighten back the four bolts and connect the wind-shield fluid line.
