Steps:
- Open the hood of the Jeep by pulling the hood latch. This is placed right next to the driver's seat and to the left of the brake pedal.
- Notice a latch located above the car's grill after popping the hood. Lift the hood by releasing the latch. After lifting the hood, notice a movable latch just above the wiper fluid container. There is a specific hole on the left side of the hood where you can hook the latch.
- Disconnect the wind-shield fluid line on the left side of the hood.
- Identify the four bolts which can be seen towards the extreme left (2 bolts) and extreme right (2 bolts) underneath the hood.
- Remove the four bolts using a 13mm wrench and lift the hood out of place.
- After replacing the old hood with the new hood, reverse the process; tighten back the four bolts and connect the wind-shield fluid line.
