HTC Vive Head Strap Mounts Replacement

Steps:

1. Be sure to power down and disconnect your Vive before beginning.
2. Use a T5 Torx driver to remove the two 12 mm-long screws securing the head strap mounts on either side of the headset.
3. The mounts may fall off when the screws are removed, so be careful not to lose any parts.

4. Remove the left head strap mount from the Vive.

5. Pull the rubberized grip off of the head strap mount.

6. Push the internal locking mechanism out of the grip.

7. Repeat the previous three steps with the right head strap mount to remove it and separate its components.
