Description: Aren’t you tired of having to throw away your...
Steps:
- Put your belt on.
- Using a ruler or measuring tape, measure how much of the belt you want to remove. Make this mark on the buckle end of the belt.
- Place a mark where you will cut the belt to shorten it.
- Measure how much of the belt is folded over the belt. Add that length to the cut mark to leave enough material to fold over the buckle.
- Using a screwdriver, remove all screws from the buckle end of the belt.
- Using scissors, cut on the exact spot of your new mark.
- You can round the edges of the cut to make the belt tip look neat.
- You can add shoe or leather polish to the cut mark to ensure it is the same color as the belt.
- Reinsert the screws and screw them back in place using a screwdriver.
- Place your belt on a workspace that can be nailed into.
- Place a nail on the new spot where you'd like to add a hole.
- Hammer the nail until it goes all the way through the belt.
- Caution: Be careful when using a hammer.
- Try on the belt and see if it fits comfortably.
- If not, follow this guide again to add more holes.
