Tesla Model X Key Fob Teardown

Description: I got my hands on a defective Tesla Model X key...

Steps:

1. Open the bottom using the method to change the battery
2. Pull down on the bottom of the back of the 'car' to pull the battery cover off

3. Use a metal spudger to unhook the three clips on each side, front, middle, and back
4. You may have to pull down on the bottom to release the small ledges holding on the side

5. Release the four clips that have been revealed on the sides

6. Pull out the button standoffs with some tweezers
7. They just slide right out!

8. Pop the buttons out with some tweezers and remove top and PCB

9. There you have it!
10. And no glue!
11. To reassemble, go in reverse
