IBM Thinkpad T61 Disc Drive Replacement

Steps:

1. Place the computer on its side so that the disc drive is facing up.
2. Push in the release lever shown.

3. Once the tab pops out, pull it away from the computer to release the disc drive.

4. Pull the disc drive away from the laptop to fully remove it.

5. Insert new disk drive back into laptop

6. Be sure to push the pull tab in as shown in the picture.
