Description: De l'eau fuit du lave-linge par le dessous. Ça...
Steps:
- Water is leaking from under the washing machine. It doesn't come from the filter... Let's dismantle this panel to see what's behind it.
- Empty the water contained in the pipe on the left as each time you clean the filter.
- Unscrew the screw on the right.
- Unclip the panel carefully.
- Leak confirmed! There is water and even mold at the bottom of the machine.
- Where is the leak coming from? Start the machine and see where the drops fall. In the event of a leak from the detergent box hose, drops will flow from the left side of the drum.
- The product box hose is accessed by removing the top panel. Simply remove the two screws from the back of the washer, then pull the panel back.
- We see that the hose is open. It was the friction with the tab that ended up cutting the hose. The water flows through there.
- With the machine model (F84G62WHS), you can find the soap drawer to tub hose on certain spare parts websites. Be careful not to confuse it with the tub-to-pump hose, which is different.
- The most common part number is MAR61961902. In France, in August 2021, it costs €15-20 excluding shipping costs.
- Upon receiving the replacement part, we can see that it has been improved compared to the original part. The area that wears out has been refined so it is no longer cut by the tab. We can now proceed with the replacement.
- To access the hose, you must dismantle the product box.
- You must first take out the drawer by pressing the “PUSH” button.
- Then remove two screws on the front.
- Gently release the product box.
- Unhook the hose on the left side of the product box.
- Squeeze the clamp pliers to release the hose from the tank.
- Collect the hose clamp to use with the new hose.
