PlayStation 5 Faceplate Replacement

Steps:

1. Make sure the PS5 console is turned off, and no wires are connected to the ports.
2. Place the PS5 console horizontally with the PlayStation logo facing upfront.
3. Use a soft work surface to protect the device.

4. Remove the PS5 stand from the console by unscrewing a slotted flat head screw located at the bottom of the stand with a slotted screwdriver.

5. After unscrewing, use your hand to lift the PS5 console from one side.
6. Use your other hand to remove the PS5 stand.

7. Using your fingers, pull the side plate upwards from the corner of the PlayStation logo.
8. While pulling up the side plate, use your other hand on the opposite corner of the PlayStation logo to push the side plate down until you hear a click sound.
9. Remove the side plate from the PS5 console.

10. Flip the PS5 console over with its rear ports facing towards you.

11. Using your fingers, pull up the faceplate from the bottom right corner while using your other hand at the opposite corner to push the side plate downwards.
12. Attempt this until you hear a click sound.
13. Remove the side plate from the PS5 console.

14. Put the new side plate on by placing it on top of the console and aligning its hooks with its corresponding holes.
15. Use your hand to push the plate from the bottom while pulling up one of the corners of the side plate on the opposite side.
16. Repeat the previous step for the other side plate.
