Steps:

1. Open the side of the refrigerator with the water filter.
2. Pull the water filter cover out.
3. The water filter cover will click when it is pulled out the required length.
4. Pull the water filter cover down.

5. Turn the water filter 90 degrees counter clockwise.

6. Remove the water filter.
7. You can not pull the water filter out unless it has been fully rotated counter clockwise.

8. Wipe away any water that leaked during the removal of the water filter.

9. Insert the new water filter.

10. Turn the water filter 90 degrees clockwise to secure in place.
11. The water filter will not move when it is fully turned.

12. Raise the water filter cover up.
13. Slide the water filter cover back into place.
14. The water filter cover will click when it is pushed in completely.

15. Dispense water over the course of five minutes in cycles of 30 seconds ON and 60 seconds OFF.
16. Do not dispense water continuously for five minutes.
17. Completing this step will remove air from the water system and reduce fine particles from the new water filter.

18. Press and hold the Accela Ice button icon for three seconds to turn the indicator light off.
19. Discard any ice produced within the first 24 hours.
