Steps:
- Clear out all food products in the refrigerator.
- Unplug the plug from the outlet.
- Turn the refrigerator backward.
- Don't turn the mini fridge on its side. Doing so will ruin the mini fridge gas.
- Use a knife to cut the plastic holding strips.
- Don't damage the rubber covering. Damaging it can be dangerous when turning the mini fridge back on.
- Use your thumbs to open the rubber covering.
- Use the CR-V screwdriver to unscrew the screw by rotating the screwdriver counter clockwise.
- Push the flathead screwdriver upward to pry open the metal hinge.
- Repeat this same step on the other side.
- Remove the plastic box by pulling it away from the wires.
- Stick the flathead screwdriver in between the compressor relay and the pot.
- Wiggle the screwdriver left to right five times.
- Use your hand to pull the compressor relay from the pot.
- Use the flathead screwdriver to push the white cable against the compressor relay to disconnect it.
- Connect the white cable to the new compressor relay.
- You should hear a click when you connect it correctly.
- Connect the holes on the compressor relay to the pot.
- Connect the top hole on the white part of the compressor relay first, then connect the rest of the holes.
- Hold the plastic box as shown in the picture and put it on the compressor relay.
- Reattach the metal hinge back onto the plastic box.
- You should hear a click when putting back on the metal hinge.
- These two steps must be done at the same time in order to work.
- Reattach the screw to the green wire and use the CR-V screwdriver to reinsert the screw.
- Refer back to Step 4 to help you complete this step.
- Warp the rubber coating back onto the metal wire.
- Warp the new plastic holding stripes onto the rubber coating.
