Steps:

1. To begin, ensure that the device is completely powered off and not connected to an energy supply.
2. Close the device and flip it over to expose the back panel.

3. Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to unscrew the five captive screws on the back panel until a small pop is heard.
4. These are captive screws and do not come out completely.

5. Gently wedge an opening tool or spudger under the back panel, and loosen the clips around the perimeter until the back panel comes off.
6. Remove the back cover.

7. Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the four 5 mm screws that are holding the battery down.
8. Remove the battery.

9. Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove two 5 mm screws from each speaker.
10. Once done, the speakers should still be attached with a red wire connecting to each other.

11. Using the black spudger, push the white plastic connector out of the the tan plug.

12. Remove speakers and wiring from device.
