Steps:

1. The cover for the air filter can be located at the top left corner of the projector when positioned so that the word "Epson" is facing you.
2. Place your fingers underneath the indented area of the center portion of the filter cover.
3. Once your fingers are aligned simply grip it and pull up to remove.

4. Grip the black tab and pull it directly up to remove the air filter from the device.
