Steps:

1. Lift up the back panel using a spudger, and remove it from the device.

2. Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver unscrew the panel from the computer.
3. Lift the panel up and remove it from the laptop.

4. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the single screw securing the disc drive to the device.

5. Remove the disk drive by pulling out so that it can be replaced with a new one.
