Steps:

  1. Upon turning on, the controller looks at the current position(s) of the analog sticks to determine the deadzone.
  2. By gently moving the problematic analog stick in a small circle, you can show the controller how much deadzone is needed to avoid the drift.
  3. Tip: You don't want to move the stick too far. Just move it in the loosest part in the center.
  4. This will have to be preformed every time the controller is powered on.
