Steps:

1. Remove the ten 6.5 mm screws that secure the base cover using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

2. Use the plastic opening tool to pry in the seam between the bottom cover and the rest of the laptop.
3. The goal is to unhook the plastic hooks that secure the bottom cover.
4. Work your way around the bottom cover of the laptop in a clockwise rotation until every clip is free.
5. You will feel and hear a clicking noise when the clips are undone.

6. Use the plastic opening tool to pry the protective cover off of the RAM.

7. Unfasten the metal clips that secure the RAM.

8. Remove the RAM from its slot on the motherboard.
