Steps:

1. Locate the furnace disconnect switch.
2. Flip the switch from the "ON" position to the "OFF" position.

3. The filter is located in between the return duct and the main furnace unit.

4. Pull the filter cover off of the duct to remove it and expose the filter.

5. Examine your furnace to determine the air flow direction.

8. The air will always flow from the return duct towards the furnace unit.
9. Your old filter may also have an arrow indicator on the side.
10. The arrow's direction will indicate the air flow direction.

11. Remove the old filter by pulling it out of the duct.

12. Insert the new filter.
13. Pay attention to which direction the new filter should face before inserting it; make it is correct.

14. Reattach the filter cover.
15. Ensure that the filter cover is securely in place.

16. Turn on the furnace.
17. Flip the switch from the "OFF" position to the "ON" position.
