Steps:

1. Wrap a cloth around the pedal hold it tight, preventing any movement.

2. Use an adjustable wrench to rotate the hex nut on the backside of the pedal arm clockwise until loose.
3. When the hex nut is loose, remove it by hand.

4. Use the spanner to rotate the interior pedal bolt clockwise.
5. Remove the pedal.

6. Use the cloth to clean any residue from the pedal arm.

7. Use the spanner to fasten the replacement pedal by rotating the pedal bolt counterclockwise.

8. Thread the hex nut on the backside of the pedal arm.
9. Use the adjustable wrench to fasten the hex nut by rotating counter-clockwise.
