ID: 147619
Description: With continuous use and regular wear and tear,...
Steps:
- Use a ruler to measure the dimensions of the damaged area on your shoe.
- Referring to the dimensions of the damaged area, use a ruler to measure out the amount of fabric needed and cut it.
- Add five centimeters to the width of the patch fabric's measurements, then cut the appropriate amount of thread.
- Tie one knot on the farthest end of the measured thread.
- This knot will secure the thread when sewing.
- Position your fabric patch over the damaged area.
- With the threaded needle, start looping the thread upwards through the fabric and top of the heel cup.
- Be careful when handling the needle. The point may cause injury.
- Tie a knot at the end of the thread to secure the stitching.
- Make sure to tightly secure the knot so it doesn't come loose.
- Once the fabric is secured on the shoe, cut off any excess thread.
