  1. Flip it onto its the side and undo all the screws to remove the cover. Note some of the screws are different length.

  2. Shows 'click superstore ltd' images of new brushes on ebay, which are a close fit. Part was labelled E109, but not sure whether this refers to size, type of carbon compound or something else. They are supposed to be for this trimmer, but I had to file down the copper connector a bit. (not a big problem).
